For the past 25 years, I've played saxophone all over the world in symphony orchestras, clubs, theatres, and festivals and in award-winning West End shows. High overtones are more like whistling through the sax than anything else. Aaron, If that is the MP that came with the horn, they are usually pretty small openings and poor quality. Any decent MP will improve things.With the 55 tenor now firmly in his clutches, I'm off to find one of my own and maybe a 55 alto for his next birthday. The Dolnet is just plain heavy to me, and the Ambassador is quite light despite its proportions. I'd like to know how much some of the pro (vintage and modern) horns weigh ....
